Welcome to Skyline High School's Junior State of America Debate chapter! We host debates and workshops every Monday after school. We have a diverse debate selection; debates can range from severe nationwide issues to local controversies.

Our club is dedicated to promoting civil discourse and leadership through JSA and strengthening Skyline's involvement in competitive debate through NSDA. JSA Debate hosts workshops and practices to engage aspiring debaters with the competitive national circuits and take students to prestigious competitions from the world's top universities and institutions.  
 

Our chapter's engagement goes outside JSA as well. For the Fight Apathy campaign, we expanded the event to span an entire month that engaged a third of the school population, and we hosted special debate events for the larger school community. These events included a teacher debate and a debate where we reached out to members of our ASB to discuss its effectiveness and solutions to student concerns.
